On Saturday 12th Jul 2014, we were blessed with the presence of His Grace Bishop Thomas in the Liturgy for the  the Feast of the Apostles. His Grace talked to us about Realising The Power That Works In Us

After celebrating the Divine Liturgy St. Mary & Archangel Michael’s Church officially opened its doors to visitors to come and find out more about the Coptic Orthodox Church’s faith, history, heritage and Egyptian culture. After a welcome from His Grace Bishop Missael and Fr. John visitors were invite to walk around the church and visit stations set up on different subjects such as Iconography including one fun station!

After a short coffee break the youth of the church presented the hymn My Coptic Church to the attendees before the Sunday School Children choir took the stage.

His Grace Bishop Thomas gave us an insightful concluding talk on Coptic Spirituality before the delicious traditional Egyptian dinner.

His Grace then held a Question and Answer session with our youth.

We thank Our Lord Jesus Christ for blessing the day with His presence, His grace, for H.G. Bishop Thomas and all the congregation who took part in the day, and we look forward to next year!
