On 12-14th October the youth travelled to Northampton for a Weekend Retreat. The weekend focused on the apologetics theme of “Is there only one way?” The talks were mostly youth-led and were very interactive, encouraging many questions and good discussions. Our annual Christmas celebration was filled with amazing performances from the primary and secondary school children. Not to mention our special guests Magic Andy and Santa Claus! The evening was recorded and is available on DVD from Amir Eskander.
We were humbled to be able to visit St. George’s care home in Solihull this Christmas season to meet the residents and do some Christmas carolling (to the best of our abilities)! This season we also launched our monthly city centre mission targeting Birmingham city centre.
This year our University and Graduate youth had a retreat in Northamptonshire taking the topic of “Tough Questions Christians are asked about the Old Testament”. Highlights included bonfire-tasbeha, outdoor laser tag and canoeing.
