On Sunday 5th January 2025, Deacon Peter Sourial was ordained as Fr. Andrew at St. Mary & Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Birmingham through the laying of hands by His Grace Bishop Missael.
His Grace ordained Fr. Andrew to assist in serving the congregations in Birmingham and the surrounding regions.
He will now begin his 40 days of fasting and preparation for the service in retreat.
We pray that the Lord may grant the new presbyter the gift of the Holy Spirit and bless his service for many years.
